From a single branch to a trusted financial institution serving thousands.

In 1985, a group of local business leaders saw a need for a different kind of bank – one that put relationships ahead of transactions. They founded Ashmore Trust Bank with a simple mission: provide exceptional service, make sound financial decisions, and reinvest in the communities they served.

What started as a single branch in downtown has grown to 65 locations across the region. But while we've expanded, our core values haven't changed. We're still the same community-focused bank that opened its doors nearly 40 years ago, just with more resources to serve you better.

Today, we're proud to manage over $12.5 billion in assets for more than 250,000 households and businesses. We remain independent, locally managed, and deeply committed to the communities that have supported us throughout our journey.
